Today, that industrial model dominates. The industry is ruled by cosmetics giants who mass manufacture their products on a global scale, relying on cheap, high-volume fillers to bulk out formulas.

Our roots
Sonne began long before I did.
My family has always turned to plants as the first answer - roots, herbs, and slow-made concoctions passed down, rather than bought. It's a way of caring for the body that trusts ingredients over shortcuts, and patience over speed.
When my own skin changed during pregnancy - sensitive, unfamiliar, asking for something gentler; I returned to what I'd always known. Not a quick fix, but a formulation built the way my family always built things - with raw ingredients, real intention, and time.
That instinct became Sonne. An hybrid oil-gel for dryness. A quiet ritual through a season of change. A way of grounding my skin in its own foundation.
